My unceasing love for you
Dearest Abigail,
Happy New Year.
I’m writing this love letter to affirm my unceasing love for you as we begin 2024. I want you to know that you will always have me by your side just like Christ will always be with us. I hope our unconditional love for you will bear fruits when you put it to good use. You may ask the question “how”, and what kinds of fruits will it bear for me? I will answer them in this love letter to you.
Love is a mysterious force that empowers you to do good. When you put it to good use, you will gain wisdom and be able to resist temptations. Wisdom helps us to decide what is good or bad; and what is the right thing to do, and discipline makes it happen. This wisdom helps us to detect temptations; the temptation to give up, the temptation to overindulge in doing the things you like, and the temptation to be lazy and take the easy way out. To tell you life is easy will be misinforming you as it is truly not, but life is meaningful and joy will ensue when you overcome your struggles. This is a promise by God and he never fails to deliver. Perseverance and resiliency are both key attributes that you can draw upon to build your strengths.
