Faith in God has led me to explore philosophy. Philosophy has led me to science and in particular physics. Physics then led me back to philosophy and philosophy back to theology. If epistemology is short-circuited by removing faith, then the discovery of knowledge is limited. Putting God in the equation is much more expansive epistemologically speaking than removing Him. This is simply because He is the father of all knowledge. Without having faith in Him will block us from seeing Truth in both sense (spiritual and scientific) of the word.
