Love, Emotion and Intellect
Key attributes of man and how they should function together
The basic premise is God created humans as the pinnacle of His creation and gave them full power to ‘dominate” over every other creation including among themselves. But this power has to work within the framework of morality undergirded by love as the driving force and sustenance of life. Another design feature of humans is we are social animals but with an intellect. Therefore, bringing all these design features into one being with both physical and spiritual attributes. The magic in us is the breadth of God which He breathed into us and embedded in us the Love that is necessary for life. The more we will the use of Love that is inside of us, the more we can live life to the fullest. A well-lived life is a life full of meaning and meaning in life is not logical in its direct sense.
Emotions are mechanisms built into our physical system to survive but also to enjoy life both emotionally and intellectually. Since we are more than just creatures with animalistic instincts, we are able to explore many different ways to satisfy our desires, both physically and spiritually. Survival instincts must work without cognitive interference so it is fast enough to be effective, and if we want to train this instinct to bring a particular outcome we must train it with a purpose in mind.
